It is cooler outside and everyone is eating pumpkin, watching football, and talking about the holidays.
More specifically people are discussing what they are thankful for.
I have seen a few blog posts pop up where people are listing what they are grateful for.
Reading posts like that fill me with a warmth that is not related to actual temperature.
Feeling warm and fuzzy inside I thought today I would offer up what I am thankful for.
First off though I would like to say Happy Anniversary to Tonya and Marvin. Two good friends of mine from college.
I am most thankful for the family that I have.
I have 3 wonderful children who try my patience sometimes (but who with children doesn't have that issue), but who really are 3 amazing humans. I am excited every day to see what they will grow and learn how to do.
They go to a school that doesn't force them to sit at a desk and learn the same thing as 25 other children. They are able to learn at their own pace and learn about the things that interest them at that moment. What better way to maintain a child's interest in learning.
I am thankful for my husband who allows me to be a little crazy sometimes.
I am sure he is reading this and saying "SOMETIMES...HA how about most of the time?"
He is supportive and listens well.
I am thankful for my health and for being able to help others when I see the opportunity.
I don't want to bog down the message today with a long list (because trust me I have one), but I encourage you to reflect on what you have and to see the positive in every situation.
Happy Thursday to you all and I leave you with this happy little clip of Andrew and Caroline dancing:
So please leave me a comment and let me know what it is that you are thankful for.
I saw similar post and think I might just join in, it's nice to see all the thankfulness!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the well wishes on our anniversary!! 10 Years!! Hard to believe!
ReplyDeleteEr, okay how the heck was I not following you. Makes no sense. I have fixed this grievous error now.I honestly thought I was. I love these posts. There is so much negativity in the world it is so refreshing to see someone be happy and grateful for things. You are a true inspiration. I applaud you! Loudly!
ReplyDeleteI love their dancing! And I am grateful to have you as my daughter.
ReplyDeleteLove always,
Mom
What a lovely post! Andrew and Caroline are adorable. I'm thankful for so many things that - like you - I'd take up too much room. I am very thankful for my bloggy friends, tho!

ReplyDeleteI hear you Ann. I love that people regularly comment, like you :) (I love new people too) and that a bond is built.
