Valentine's Day Treat

We all know that Valentine's Day is a mere two days away.

Have you thought about what you will be doing for your sweetie?

Maybe something kind of sexy?

I wanted to share with you a recipe from Wholesome Sweeteners that might be enjoyable on Valentine's Day:

I do want to say a quick word about what I think is special about Wholesome Sweeteners.  Their products are organic and Fair Trade (meaning farmers are paid a set premium for their crops).  By doing this local farmers can compete against factory farms...and who doesn't want to support the local farmer?  I think that deserves a little Valentine's Day love.

The love doesn't stop there Wholesome wants to give away to you, one of my lucky readers, the below gift basket:

That is a lot of DELICIOUS agave.

Would you like to know how you can win?  Enter through the Rafflecopter below.

The giveaway will be open through Valentine's Day.

  2. Wow! What a great giveaway!! Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday. Last year my husband made heart shaped biscuits for us all. I usually cook something special and we exchange little treats with the kids. I also bring either heart shaped doughnuts or bake a cake for my co-workers.

  3. Wow such an awesome giveaway!!!! For my hubby this year we are keeping it simple and staying in. But, in my way home from work I plan on picking up some special ingredients to make a romantic dinner at home (if we get the baby to sleep at a decent hour!)

  7. I made up a small goody bag for my husband---a couple of small electronic items for his truck, a vegan fitness magazine, and some chocolate-covered hazelnuts---for under $30. For my 5 year old nephew I bought the 3rd Mitch Spinach book.

  8. I have actually never tried agave, probably because we always have an abundance of maple syrup and honey at home. :)

I don't have a gift idea for my guy, but we're going skiing tomorrow - it's only $14 at the local ski places! (And at one of them you have to kiss at the ticket booth to get the great deal.)

  15. Such a beautiful basket of wholesome goodies.

For our Valentine's celebration we decided to wait until the weekend so we can enjoy an extended Valentine's feast which would center on trying all our favorite desserts, pastries and cakes. I can't wait for the weekend to come.
    Happy Valentine's Day to All.
