Feeling Creative?

I wanted to share with you all a program that Rudi's Organic Bakery is running called Let's Doodle Lunch.

Through their Facebook page they are accepting uploads of kids art work (and let me tell you the gallery has got some very cool submissions).

There will be a contest and in the end some lucky children will have their art on the front of a sandwich box.

Pretty cool idea huh?

I think so, but then packing lunches in a cute way makes me excited...I might be a little weird.

Rudi's is working with The Lunch Box to help encourage more homemade lunches and to help children, grades K-12, to move away from processed foods.

What better way to encourage children to eat a homemade lunch than by eating from their own sandwich box adorned with their artwork.

So you've checked out the links above and now you are thinking "Man I wish I had some art supplies so I could create a sandwich box!"

I knew you were, so guess what?

One of my lucky readers is going to win this delightful art set (compliments of Rudi's):

In your package is included:
  • sketch pad
  • reusable bag
  • beret (all artists need one)
  • art set (includes paints, crayons, and markers)
  • 2 coupons for Rudi's bread
Do you need some suggestions as to what bread to pick up with your coupons?

I would be more than happy to give you my two cents.

My favorite is the Rocky Mountain Sourdough and their newest addition to the Rudi's family the Multigrain Sandwich Flatz.

The sourdough has just the perfect "sourness" and it is soft and delicious to boot.  The flatz provide a reduced calorie option for sandwiches (at only 110 calories a piece), not to mention they have 24 grams of whole grains and 5 grams of fiber.

Should you be sensitive or allergic to gluten Rudi's does have a gluten free line to suit your needs as well (you must try the cinnamon raisin...YUM!).

Now that I have made you hungry for both bread and to make some art how about entering the giveaway.
