Pinterest Friday

I haven't gotten fully back into the swing of things after Christmas.

So I apologize for not having but one post this week.

However I did want to make this post one that is idea filled since New Year's is next week.

Ever since I was a kid I have enjoyed New Years.

Not because I got to stay up late, but because my parents always put out special snacks to enjoy.

This year I will be attending a party so I need to figure out something to bring...but have no fear Pinterest is here.

Here are some choices I am contemplating from Pinterest:

So what do you think looks good?

I know it is leaning a little towards the sweets...but they are my weakness, and favorite thing to make.

Do you have any good suggestions for finger food to take to a party?

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your New Years, but be sure to stay safe.

  2. I like all of the sweets, too! Stuffed mushrooms are good. Oh, and you know that baked cheese that Lynn makes is awesome.

    Love always,

  6. Hope your family had a fabulous Christmas! I vote for the last one as I think, surprisingly enough, I have had my fill of sweets over the last month and a half. Although you know I am a HUGE fan of biscotti and hot chocolate, I always need a tad bit of sweetness and it always fits the bill.

  7. All the sweets look very appealing, but I'm always intrigued by interesting and different savoury dishes and those carrot & red lentil sesame bites would definitely do it for me. Hope you had a happy new year celebration and best wishes for the year ahead.
